Cousin's Visit

Yesterday my aunt, cousin and cousin's baby came to visit. The baby is about 11 months old and started taking her first steps about a month or so ago. I can't believe how big she has gotten since I last saw her this summer. My cousin is now living in Pittsburg with her family but they will all be moving to Vermont in the next year.

My cousin was excited to have her daughter meet the puppy. Unfortunately Moxy is still really shy around strangers and wouldn't go near the baby. Moxy is getting braver with adults so I guess we should take what we can get. Towards the end of the visit, Moxy was more at ease around my cousin and aunt.

They also had a chance to look at our wedding album. I am terrible about remembering to take it out for folks who might be interested in it. If you're reading this and would like to view the album remind me to take it out the next time you visit.

Tonight Rangi and I will be taking Moxy to puppy kindergarten. Right now she is a little nippy and jumpy. This will change with training and age. However, it’s nice to have a professional trainer give us guidance on how to effectively work with Moxy. She has gotten better about going to sleep in her crate. But I do need to get up around 3 am to let her out to go to the bathroom if we all go to sleep around 10 pm.
